Our Local Photographer Travel Photography Experience

Our photos were taken in Kelowna.

Shelley, our photographer, contacted us before the photoshoot with some suggestions on locations. After discussing a few locations, we chose our favourite.

Shelley met us at the location of the shooting on the day. Shelley asked what kind of pictures we would like (solo photos, couples shots, singles of our kids and so forth).

After we had decided on what we wanted to do, we began our hour-long photo shoot.

Shelley, our photographer was professional and friendly. She was great at getting us to have fun and relax with the cameras. It was a pleasure to be in front of her camera.

Our kids are notoriously difficult to get them to smile and relax for pictures. Shelley made the children laugh and smile, resulting in better pictures than what we would have taken.

As we had a tight schedule and could not reschedule the shoot, we were disappointed to have a cloudy, cool day. Though you would not know from her photos, she was able to do a great job on an extremely overcast day.

What matters is the final result of the pictures.

As I take the majority of my own photos, it was a great opportunity to get a few shots of me.
