Little Passports is a new subscription box for kids. This article reviews the little Passports box subscriptions for children, explains what they are, and explains how you can choose the right subscription for your child.
Little Passports was the first thing we found when looking for indoor, fun activities with an emphasis on travel and exploration for our children.

We miss our sense of exploration and adventure after not being able to travel for over a whole year due to pandemic. We’ve tried to find ways to incorporate some of that fun and learning you have while traveling into our daily lives.
It’s fun to watch the top travel vloggers in YouTube, but their educational value, particularly for children, is questionable. And, be honest, you won’t get very far planning your next trip until you start making reservations and booking dates.

Review of the LITTLE PAPER PASSPORTS Science Expeditions
Pinball Party was our first Science Expeditions Kit.
Kits for a PINBALL Party
First, I was impressed by the glossy and colorful 16-page comic that came with the kit. It is also nicely illustrated. The comic book contained fun facts on pinball history and a story illustrated about Sam and Sofia. This told about the pinball machine’s working and raised many fun questions.

There are many games, puzzles and word searches in the comic, as well as a glossary.
The book was filled with physics questions and terms, which were simple and easy to understand, yet challenging.
You can even find a fun video and more facts online.
After my 12-year-old daughter finished reading the comic for Pinball Party she then moved onto the science experiment.

She was given a pinball guide and pre-cut wood pieces to create the machine.
The experiment guide was easy to understand and follow with lots of illustrations and tips.
It’s even more fun that at the end, she had a pinball machine in working order. The pinball was a great activity, she learned about building and physics, and at the end, had a toy.
We tried a Solar Energy Science Expeditions Kit as our second kit.
SOLAR SCIENCE EXPEDITIONS KITKIT
We were able to get the kit at just the right time, as we have been working towards getting solar panels for our trailer.
This illustrated comic began with the story of Sam and Sofia joining their aunt Charlie in an adventure to track the movements of snow leopards on the Himalayas.
It’s an adventure combining science with travel!
Sam and Sofia are shocked to discover that a village located in the Himalayas has adopted solar energy for daily uses such as cooking and clothes drying. They learn about solar energy along the way.
This kit includes a solar-powered car, a UV impact experiment, and a spectroscope. All the necessary parts to complete the science experiments are in the kit.
She hasn’t finished the three experiments, but keeps asking us when we can start. Our week was busy, and we didn’t have time to begin the final experiment. However, I believe her eagerness to start speaks for itself.

Overall, I am very impressed by the subscription. They were high-quality and kept our daughter entertained and engaged.

Is it worth the little passports?
Little Passports is a great product.
- on time delivery
- The kit contained high-quality supplies and was age-appropriate.
- Subscriptions come with everything you need. No need to buy additional supplies.
- The kits were great for engaging imagination and were lots of fun
What we didn’t like
We have a teenager and would like to see an older kid’s subscription.
The kits we bought were great for our 15-year-old, but it was difficult to come up with an activity that would be equally enjoyable for him. We would be able to simplify our life if we had something else for the older child.
It would be great to have an older World Edition version for children aged 6-8. As Canadians we are less interested than American subscribers in an USA-only version.
